Getting There

Walking
From the center of Placencia Village, head southeast towards the main road (Placencia Road). Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk along it until you reach the junction with the Southern Highway. This is about a 20-minute walk. At the junction, you can find a local bus terminal where you can catch a bus heading towards Silk Grass Village. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you at the entrance to Mayflower Bocawina National Park.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Placencia Village. Start by riding southeast towards Placencia Road. Continue along Placencia Road until you reach the junction with the Southern Highway. At the junction, turn left onto the Southern Highway and cycle for about 10-15 minutes. Look for the sign for Silk Grass Village and Mayflower Bocawina National Park on your right. Follow the road until you see the entrance to the park.

Public Bus
From the center of Placencia, walk to the bus terminal located on the main road. Catch a bus heading towards Belmopan or Dangriga. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at Silk Grass Village. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs leading to Mayflower Bocawina National Park, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
