Getting There

Walking
From the central park in San Ignacio, head west on Burns Avenue. Walk straight until you reach the junction with W. Ford Young Drive. Turn left onto W. Ford Young Drive. Continue walking along W. Ford Young Drive for approximately 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve on your right, marked by a sign. The reserve is located on the hillside, so be prepared for a slight uphill walk as you approach the entrance.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in San Ignacio. Start from the central park and head west on Burns Avenue. After about 5 minutes, turn left onto W. Ford Young Drive. Continue cycling for about 10 minutes. You will find the entrance to Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve on your right. Note that the road may have some inclines, so be ready for a bit of a workout!

Public Transportation (Local Bus)
You can catch a local bus or 'chicken bus' from the main bus terminal in San Ignacio. Look for buses heading towards the western part of San Ignacio. Get off at the stop closest to W.
