Car
From Sarteneja, head south on the main road towards the village of Orange Walk. Follow the signs for about 30 miles (approximately 48 kilometers) until you reach the junction for the Belize River. Take a left at the junction and continue until you reach the boat launch area. Parking is available, but ensure you check if there are any fees. You will then need to take a boat ride across the river to Lamanai, which takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately $20 USD per person.

From Sarteneja, take a local bus heading towards Orange Walk. The bus station is located centrally in Sarteneja. The fare is approximately $5 USD. Once you arrive in Orange Walk, you will need to take a taxi or a shuttle to the boat launch area for Lamanai, which may cost around $10-15 USD. At the boat launch, you will board a boat that takes you across the river to Lamanai, costing about $20 USD per person.
