Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Aidjedo, head south towards the main road, RN 3. Once you reach RN 3, turn left and walk along the road for about 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye out for local shops and cafes that may serve as landmarks. Red Star Square is located at 9CC5+HWM, RN 3, Cotonou, which you will find on your right side.

• Bicycle

  For a more enjoyable journey, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Aidjedo. Head towards RN 3 by cycling south, then turn left onto RN 3. You can cycle along the road, enjoying the sights, and Red Star Square will be approximately 10 minutes away, located on your right. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.

• Motorbike Taxi (Zémidjan)

  If you prefer a quicker method, you can hire a motorbike taxi, known locally as Zémidjan. To do this, flag down a Zémidjan driver, and let them know you want to go to Red Star Square, located at 9CC5+HWM, RN 3. The fare should be around 500-1000 CFA depending on your starting point in Aidjedo. The ride will take about 5-10 minutes.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  There are local buses that run through Aidjedo to various parts of Cotonou. Look for a bus that is heading towards the RN 3 route. Once you board, inform the conductor that you are heading to Red Star Square. The bus fare is usually around 200 CFA. After a short ride, disembark at the nearest bus stop to Red Star Square, and walk a short distance to your destination.
