If you're starting from the Cotonou Central Market, head south on Avenue Jean-Paul II towards Avenue de la République. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue walking for another 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and local eateries. As you approach the Esplanade des Amazones, look for signs directing you towards the historical landmark which is located at 8CX5+J25 in the Haie Vive neighborhood.

From the Cotonou International Airport, exit the airport and walk towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. This will take about 30 minutes. Once on Avenue de l'Indépendance, continue walking towards the city center. After about 20 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Avenue de la République. Continue straight for another 10 minutes. The Esplanade des Amazones will be on your right. Look for the large statue and well-marked signage.
