Starting from Jakar town center, head east towards the main road (Bumthang-Jakar Highway). Upon reaching the highway, turn left and walk along the road for about 15 minutes. You will see signs directing you towards Jakar Dzong. Continue walking until you reach a small bridge, cross it and follow the uphill path on your right. After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at Jakar Dzong, which is visible from a distance due to its impressive architecture.
