    From the center of Bumthang, head southeast towards the main road (the road leading to Jakar). Take this road and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Motithang area. Continue straight on this road, which will lead you to a small bridge. Cross the bridge and keep walking for another 500 meters. You will see signs directing you to the Royal Takin Preserve. The entrance will be on your left.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Bumthang. Start from the center of Bumthang and head southeast towards the main road (the road leading to Jakar). Cycle for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Motithang area. Keep going straight on this road, cycling past the small bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue for another 500 meters. Watch for signs to the Royal Takin Preserve, which will be on your left. Ensure to park your bike at the designated area.

    Hiking
