Car
If you are driving from central Thimphu, head towards the Norzin Lam Road and continue straight until you reach the junction. Take a left turn onto the Wangchu River Road (also known as the Tashicho Dzong Road). Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you see the sign for Kuenselphodrang. Turn left and follow the winding road uphill for about 1 kilometer. The Buddha Dordenma Statue will be visible from a distance, and there are parking facilities available nearby.
Taxi
For a convenient option, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Thimphu. Simply tell the driver 'Buddha Dordenma' or provide the address 'Kuenselphodrang.' The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic, and the fare typically ranges from 300 to 500 Ngultrum depending on your pick-up location.
Public Bus
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Thimphu's main bus terminal. Look for buses heading towards the Kuenselphodrang area. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Kuenselphodrang' stop, and from there, you can either walk for about 15 minutes uphill or hire a local taxi to take you directly to the statue. Walking
