Car
From the center of Dagana, head north on the main road towards the town of Tsirang. After about 12 km, look for a sign directing you towards Lungchutse Goemba. Turn right onto the dirt road. Follow this road for approximately 6 km, where you will see the entrance to Lungchutse Goemba on your left. Please note that the road can be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.
Public Transportation
From Dagana's main bus terminal, take a local bus heading towards Tsirang. The fare is typically around 100 Nu. After about 30 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at the Lungchutse Goemba junction. Once you get off, you will need to walk about 6 km along the dirt road; it is advisable to ask locals for the best route to the monastery entrance.
Hiking/Walking
If you are already near Lungchutse Goemba, you can hike to the monastery. Starting from the Lungchutse Goemba junction, it is a steep but rewarding walk of about 6 km. Be prepared with water and snacks, and wear comfortable walking shoes as the trail can be rugged.
