From any location in Eastern Bhutan, make your way to the town of Paro, which serves as the nearest major town to Paro Taktsang. If you are in a town like Trashigang or Mongar, you can drive towards Paro, which is approximately a 7-8 hour journey. Ensure you have a valid driver’s license and adhere to local driving laws. Once in Paro, follow the signs to Paro Taktsang. The road will take you to the base of the monastery, where you will find parking facilities. Note that parking here may incur a small fee.

If traveling by public transportation, take a bus from your current location to Paro. Buses run regularly from major towns like Thimphu and Phuentsholing to Paro.
