Getting There

• Car

  From Gasa, head south on the Gasa-Thimphu Highway (NH2). Continue for approximately 90 kilometers. You will pass through several small towns and beautiful landscapes. As you approach Thimphu, follow the signs directing you towards the city center. Once in Thimphu, navigate towards Changzamtok area, specifically Zachoe Lam.   From Gasa, take a local bus heading towards Thimphu. The journey will take around 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you arrive at the Thimphu bus station, exit the station and head towards the main road. You can take a taxi or walk towards Changzamtok. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. If you take a taxi, make sure to confirm the fare beforehand; it typically costs around 200-300 Ngultrum.

  If you prefer a more direct route, hiring a taxi from Gasa to Thimphu is an option. The trip will take about 2 to 3 hours. Once in Thimphu, ask the driver to take you to Changzamtok, specifically to Zachoe Lam, where BookMyTour is located. Confirm the fare in advance; it may range from 3000 to 5000 Ngultrum depending on negotiation and time of day.
