From Gasa, drive south on the Gasa-Tashithang Highway. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the junction where the road branches off towards Trongsa. Continue straight for about 90 km on the Trongsa Highway. As you approach Trongsa, follow the signs leading to Trongsa Dzong, which is located in the center of Trongsa town. The Dzong is well-marked and cannot be missed.

From Gasa, take a local bus heading towards Punakha or Wangdue Phodrang. Buses typically leave from the main bus station in Gasa.
