Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Gasa, head south on the main road towards Punakha. After approximately 40 kilometers, you will reach the junction towards Thimphu. Continue straight until you reach the town of Thimphu. The Jungshi handmade paper factory is located in the Yangchenphu area of Thimphu, approximately 10 kilometers from the city center. Look for signs directing you toward FJFV+7J9, and you should see the factory on your right. Note: Parking may be limited, so be prepared to find a nearby spot.

    From Gasa, take a local bus heading to Thimphu. The bus journey will take approximately 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at the Thimphu bus station, you can either take a taxi or walk to the Jungshi handmade paper factory. The distance is about 3 kilometers from the bus station.
