Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the center of Thimphu, near Clock Tower Square. Head south on Norzin Lam, following the road as it curves to the left. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the road leading to the Sangaygang viewpoint. From there, turn right and walk up the hill towards the viewpoint. After enjoying the view, continue following the path that leads upwards. You will eventually reach a sign indicating the trail to Phajoding. Follow this marked trail, which will take you through beautiful forests and offer stunning views of the valley. The hike to Phajoding typically takes around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Ensure to carry sufficient water and snacks for the trek.
