Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the National Memorial Chorten, head southwest along Chhodak Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection at Norzin Lam. Turn left onto Norzin Lam and walk straight for approximately 500 meters. You will pass several shops and eateries on your way. Clocktower Square will be on your right, marked by a prominent clock tower and surrounded by a vibrant square.

  • Walking

    From the Tashichho Dzong, exit the Dzong and head southeast along the main road (Chhodak Road). Continue walking for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach Norzin Lam. Turn right onto Norzin Lam and follow the road for another 300 meters. Clocktower Square will be on your left, easily identifiable by its clock tower and the lively atmosphere of the square.

    Starting at the Changangkha Lhakhang, head down the hill towards the main road. Once you reach the road, turn right and walk for about 800 meters. You will eventually reach an intersection with Norzin Lam. Turn left onto Norzin Lam and continue straight for about 400 meters. Clocktower Square will be on your right, featuring the iconic clock tower and various shops and cafes.

    If you are near the Centenary Farmer's Market, exit the market and head north towards Norzin Lam. Once you reach the main road, turn right and walk for approximately 600 meters. As you walk, enjoy the local shops and street vendors. After reaching the intersection with Chhodak Road, turn left and continue walking for around 300 meters. Clocktower Square will be on your left, easily recognized by its central clock tower.
