Getting There

    Start at the Jakar Dzong, which is centrally located in Jakar. From the entrance of the Jakar Dzong, head east down the main street, known as Chokhor Lam. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto the road leading towards Trongsa. This road will take you through beautiful landscapes and traditional villages. Continue walking for approximately 4 km until you reach the village of Trongsa. As you approach Trongsa, you will see the Trongsa Dzong perched on a hill above the town. Follow the signs to the Dzong, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill from the village center.
