    From Bumthang's main town area, head towards the Jakar Dzong. This is your starting point. Make your way to the main road and head south, following the signs towards Trongsa. The walk will take you through beautiful landscapes, and you can enjoy the views of the valleys and mountains around. After approximately 2-3 hours of walking, you'll reach the junction for the Wangdue Phodrang - Trongsa Hwy. Follow this road, and you will see signs directing you to the Trongsa Dzong View Point. Continue on this road for about 30 minutes until you reach the viewpoint.
