Getting There

Walking
From the center of Jakar, head south towards the Chamkhar River. You can start at the Jakar Dzong, which is a prominent landmark. Walk down the main road that leads to the river, and you will pass several small shops and cafes. Continue along the riverbank for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Chamkhar. Turn left at this intersection and proceed for another 500 meters. Look for signs directing you to Wangdicholing Resort. The resort is located about 100 meters off the main road to your right.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jakar. Start at the Jakar Dzong and head south towards the Chamkhar River. Follow the same path as pedestrians, cycling down the main road along the river. After about 1 kilometer, turn left at the intersection towards Chamkhar. Continue cycling for approximately 500 meters, watching for directional signs. The resort will be about 100 meters off the road to your right. Ensure you bike carefully, especially near the riverbank.
