From Lhuentse, start your journey by heading south on the Lhuentse-Gonphu Road. Continue for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the Gonphu area. Look for signs indicating Royal Manas National Park or your GPS may guide you to the coordinates 2PJ8+642. The park entrance is located near these coordinates. Make sure to have your vehicle fueled up, as there may not be many gas stations along the route.

Public Transportation
Begin your trip at the Lhuentse bus terminal, where you can catch a local bus heading towards Gonphu. The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic and stops. When you arrive in Gonphu, you may need to hire a taxi or a local guide to take you the final few kilometers to the park entrance at 2PJ8+642, as public transportation may not go directly to the park. Be prepared to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver.

If you are already in Gonphu and prefer a more adventurous route, you can hike from the village to the park entrance. Follow the marked trails or ask locals for the best path to take, keeping in mind that it's about a 5-kilometer hike.
