Starting from the center of Mongar, head towards the Mongar Dzong. Once you reach the Dzong, continue on the main road heading east. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with the road leading to the Kengkhar area. Take a left at the intersection. Follow this road for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the base of the hill leading to the Buddha Dordenma Statue. You will see signs directing you to the statue. Ascend the steps or the path leading uphill. The entire journey will take roughly 35-45 minutes on foot, depending on your pace.

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle in Mongar and start your journey from the town center. Cycle towards Mongar Dzong, then take the main road heading east. After about 10 minutes, turn left at the intersection towards Kengkhar. Continue along this road, which is mostly flat and scenic.
