Walking
Start from Paro Dzong, the iconic fortress located in the heart of Paro. Head south towards the river and cross the bridge. After crossing, turn left onto the main road (National Highway 2) and continue walking. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. After about 15 minutes, you will see a sign on your right for Choemthangkha Menchhu. Follow the path up the hill; it’s a short but steep climb of about 10 minutes.

If you are starting from the Paro Airport, exit the airport and turn left onto the main road. Walk for about 30 minutes down the National Highway 2, enjoying the scenic views. Once you reach Paro town, follow the previous directions from Paro Dzong. This route is about 1.5 to 2 kilometers and will take around 45 minutes to an hour.
