    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Paro Dzong, head east on the main road (Road to Thimphu). Follow this road for about 30 minutes until you reach the junction with the Thimphu Highway. Continue straight onto the Thimphu Highway, and after approximately 30 more minutes, you will see a sign for Tashichho Dzong on your left. Follow the signs and walk towards the entrance.

    Bicycle

    From Paro town, rent a bicycle and head towards the Paro Dzong. Once at the Dzong, take the main road leading towards Thimphu. Cycle along the Thimphu Highway for about 9 kilometers. You will see Tashichho Dzong on your left side as you approach the city. Look for the entrance as you cycle down the road.

    Local Bus

    Head to the Paro bus station located near the main market. Take a bus heading to Thimphu. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Thimphu, ask the bus conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to Tashichho Dzong. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of the Dzong.

    Taxi

    While you may not be traveling by car, you can hire a local taxi. Request the driver to take you to Tashichho Dzong in Thimphu. The taxi ride will take about 30-40 minutes, and you can ask the driver to drop you off right at the entrance of the Dzong.
