Car
From the center of Pemagatshel, head towards the Pemagatshel-Dungna Highway. Travel east for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction leading to Trashiyangtse. Follow the signs towards Trashiyangtse, continuing for about 20 kilometers. Once in Trashiyangtse, navigate to Manla Road. Gongza Ney is located at the coordinates FJ86+G7Q, which you can enter into your GPS. Look for local signage or ask residents for directions if needed.
Public Transportation
Start at the main bus terminal in Pemagatshel. Look for buses heading towards Trashiyangtse; these usually run several times a day. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions. Once you arrive in Trashiyangtse, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Manla Road. The taxi fare should be negotiated beforehand, but it typically costs around 200-300 Ngultrum.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Pemagatshel directly to Gongza Ney. This option may be more expensive, costing approximately 1,500 to 2,000 Ngultrum for a one-way trip. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
