Car
Start your journey from Pemagatshel by heading northwest on the Pemagatshel-Trashigang Highway (also known as the Lhuentse Highway). Continue for about 50 kilometers until you reach the junction for Paro. Turn left onto the road that leads to Paro and continue for another 140 kilometers. Upon reaching the town of Paro, follow the signs towards Paro Taktsang. You will need to park at the designated parking area near the entrance of the trail leading to the monastery.

Public Transportation
From Pemagatshel, take a bus or shared taxi to Trashigang. This journey will take about 1-2 hours depending on traffic. Upon reaching Trashigang, transfer to another bus heading to Paro. This leg of the journey will take approximately 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in Paro, you can take a taxi or walk to the base of the Paro Taktsang trailhead. The trailhead is about 10 kilometers from the town center.

Hiking
After parking your car or arriving at the trailhead by taxi, you will need to hike approximately 2.5 kilometers up to Paro Taktsang. The trail is well-marked but can be steep in places, so wear comfortable hiking shoes. It typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the monastery, depending on your fitness level. There is an entrance fee for the monastery, which is around 500 BTN (Bhutanese Ngultrum), so be sure to have cash on hand.
