Car
If you are driving from Punakha, take the road leading north towards Gyaltshe. Continue on this road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction at Gyaltshe. Turn left at the junction and follow the signs towards Khotokha. The drive will take you through beautiful landscapes, and you may encounter some local traffic. The last stretch will be a winding road uphill, so drive carefully. Upon arriving at the Khotokha Ramsar, you will find designated parking areas.
Public Transportation
To reach Khotokha Ramsar via public transportation, start by taking a local bus or taxi from Punakha to Gyaltshe. Buses typically leave from the main bus station in Punakha, and you should ask for a bus going towards Gyaltshe. The fare should be relatively inexpensive, around 100-200 Ngultrum. Upon reaching Gyaltshe, you can either walk the remaining distance to Khotokha Ramsar, which is about 5 kilometers, or hire a local taxi for around 300-400 Ngultrum for the short trip.
