If you're driving to the Punakha Suspension Bridge, start from Punakha town. Head southeast on the main road towards Wangdue Phodrang. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see the sign for the Punakha Suspension Bridge. There is a small parking area near the bridge where you can leave your vehicle. The bridge is just a short walk from the parking area.

Public Transportation
To reach the Punakha Suspension Bridge via public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi from Punakha town towards Wangdue Phodrang. Inform the driver that you are going to the Punakha Suspension Bridge. The fare is usually around 50-100 Ngultrum. Once you arrive at the designated stop, follow the signs leading to the bridge which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you are already in the vicinity of the bridge, you can walk from your accommodation in Punakha. Head towards the main road leading out of town towards Wangdue Phodrang. Look for the bridge signs along the route. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Punakha Valley along the way.
