Walking
If you are in Punakha, start your journey by heading towards the main road leading out of the valley. Walk towards the bus station located near the Punakha Dzong, which is a well-known landmark. From the bus station, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Thimphu. The journey will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Thimphu, get off at the main bus terminal.
Walking
After arriving at the Thimphu bus terminal, exit the terminal and walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction. Take a left turn onto Norzin Lam road. Continue walking straight until you pass by the Clock Tower Square. Keep an eye out for signs that indicate the Bhutan Postal Museum; it is located a short distance further down Norzin Lam road, on the right side. The total walk from the bus terminal to the museum should take around 15 minutes.
