Getting There

Walking

If you are starting from the center of Punakha, head towards the main road and look for a local sign pointing to Thimphu. Walk along the main road until you reach the intersection with the Punakha Dzong in sight. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the bus station. At the bus station, look for a local bus that is heading towards Thimphu. Get on the bus and inform the driver that you want to get off at the National Institute for Zorig Chusum. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Punakha. Start from the center of Punakha and cycle towards the east along the main road. Continue cycling straight for about 12 kilometers, which will take you past scenic landscapes. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating Thimphu. Once you reach Thimphu, look for the National Institute for Zorig Chusum on your right side. It will be located near FJMJ+4JV. The entire trip may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed.
Local Bus

From Punakha, head to the bus station located near the center of town. Look for buses heading towards Thimphu, which run regularly throughout the day. Purchase your ticket and board the bus. During the journey, you can ask the conductor or fellow passengers to alert you when you arrive at the National Institute for Zorig Chusum. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes.
