Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Punakha Dzong, walk straight down the main road (Punakha-Wangdue Highway) towards the town center. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the junction where the main road splits. Continue straight on the main road, and after another 10 minutes, you will see a sign for the Royal Textile Academy on your left. The academy is located on Norzin Lam. Cross the road safely and walk towards the entrance.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Punakha Dzong. Start by cycling towards the town center along the Punakha-Wangdue Highway. After about 15 minutes, keep an eye out for the sign for the Royal Textile Academy on your left. It will take you around 25 minutes to reach the academy, where you can lock your bike at the entrance.
