Follow the road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction near Wangdue Phodrang. Turn left and continue on the road for another 30 kilometers. You will see signs for Gangtey Monastery. The total drive time is around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

    From Samdrup Jongkhar, take a bus heading towards Wangdue Phodrang. Buses leave from the main bus terminal and the fare is approximately 200-300 Ngultrum (BTD). The journey takes about 3 to 4 hours. Once you reach Wangdue Phodrang, you will need to hire a taxi to take you to Gangtey Monastery, which is about 30 kilometers away.
