Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Sarpang town and take the road towards Gelephu. Follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction that leads to Chazam, Sephu. Turn left at the junction and continue for another 5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for local signage indicating Dorji Khando. The final approach may involve a short drive along a narrow road that leads directly to the site. Make sure to have local maps or GPS on hand, as some roads are less marked.
Public Bus
If you prefer public transportation, you can catch a bus from Sarpang to Gelephu. Buses to Gelephu leave frequently from the central bus station in Sarpang. After reaching Gelephu, you will need to take a local taxi or a shared taxi to Chazam, Sephu. This taxi ride will cost you around 200-300 Ngultrum, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. Once you arrive at Chazam, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Dorji Khando, and from there, you may have to walk a short distance to reach your destination.
Motorbike
For those who enjoy a bit of adventure, renting a motorbike in Sarpang is a great option. Follow the same route towards Gelephu, ensuring to wear a helmet and adhere to local traffic rules. The ride offers beautiful views of the countryside. Once you reach Chazam, you can park your motorbike and walk to Dorji Khando. This method gives you the flexibility to explore the area at your own pace.
