Car
If you are driving from anywhere in Sarpang District, head towards the town of Gelephu. From Gelephu, take the Route 2 towards Trongsa. The drive will take approximately 5-6 hours. Follow the signs for Trongsa as you approach the town. Upon reaching Trongsa, keep an eye out for the Dzong, which is a prominent structure on the hillside. The exact location is FGX3+VXG, Trongsa.
Public Transportation
To reach Trongsa Dzong via public transport, you can take a bus from Gelephu to Trongsa. Buses are available daily, and the journey takes around 6-7 hours. Make sure to ask for the bus heading directly to Trongsa. Once you arrive in Trongsa, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach the Dzong, which is centrally located and visible from many points in the town.
