Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the center of Thimphu, Tashichho Dzong. Head south towards Chhogyal Lama Road. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Norzim Lam. Turn right onto Norzim Lam and continue walking for another 10 minutes. You will pass by several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Ludrong Phakha. Once you reach the end of Norzim Lam, take a left onto a smaller road leading towards Ludrong Memorial Garden. The garden will be on your right after a short walk.

Public Bus
From the main bus terminal in Thimphu, take bus number 4 or 5 heading towards Ludrong Phakha. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Disembark at the Ludrong Phakha stop. After getting off, you will see a small path leading to the garden. Follow this path for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Ludrong Memorial Garden.

Bicycle
If you choose to rent a bicycle, start from the Clock Tower Square in the heart of Thimphu. Pedal south down Norzim Lam for about 2 kilometers, enjoying the local scenery. Once you reach the intersection with Chhogyal Lama Road, turn right and continue straight for another 1 kilometer. You’ll see the signs for Ludrong Memorial Garden. Park your bicycle at the designated area before entering the garden.
