Getting There

Walking
Start at the Clock Tower Square in Thimphu, which is a central landmark. From the Clock Tower, head east on Norzin Lam Street until you reach the intersection at the Tashichho Dzong. Turn left onto the Babesa-Thimphu Expressway. Continue walking along the expressway for about 30 minutes, keeping an eye out for the signs that direct you to the Royal Botanical Garden Serbithang. As you approach, you will see the entrance to the garden on your right.

From the Clock Tower Square, walk to the nearest bus stop and take a local bus heading towards Babesa. Inform the bus conductor or driver that you want to get off at Serbithang.
