The chhorten will be visible from the road as it is a prominent landmark. There is parking available nearby.

Upon reaching Thimphu's bus station, you can either hire a taxi or use local transport to reach Chhoten Lam. Taxis are readily available and can take you directly to the National Memorial Chhorten for a fee of about 300-500 Nu (Bhutanese Ngultrum).
