Walking
From Wangdue Phodrang town center, head north on the main road towards Thimphu. Follow the road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Thimphu. Once you arrive in Thimphu, continue straight until you see the signs for Norzin Lam, which is a major street in Thimphu. Take a left onto Norzin Lam. The Centenary Farmers Market is located further down this street on your right side, just before the intersection with the Chang Lam street.
Public Bus
From Wangdue Phodrang, go to the local bus station and board a bus heading towards Thimphu. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Ask the conductor to drop you off near the main bus terminal in Thimphu. Once you arrive, exit the bus station and walk towards Norzin Lam. The Centenary Farmers Market is located a short 10-minute walk from the bus terminal. You can follow Norzin Lam and look for the market on your right side.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Wangdue Phodrang to Thimphu. Start from the town center and follow the main road north towards Thimphu. The ride is approximately 25 kilometers and will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once in Thimphu, continue straight until you reach Norzin Lam. The market will be located on your right side, just before you reach the intersection with Chang Lam.
