    From the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, head south on the main road towards the Punakha-Wangdue Highway. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection at Teoprongchu. Look for signs pointing to Chimi Lhakhang. Turn left at the intersection and follow the signs. The distance from the intersection to Chimi Lhakhang is approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see the beautiful temple nestled among the hills on your right as you approach.

    If you are near the Wangdue Phodrang Town Center, start from the bus station. Walk down towards the main road and turn right onto the Punakha-Wangdue Highway. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the Teoprongchu intersection. Turn left and follow the signs towards Chimi Lhakhang. It is approximately a 20-minute walk from the town center.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle in Wangdue Phodrang and start from the Dzong area. Head towards the Punakha-Wangdue Highway, riding south for approximately 1 kilometer. At the Teoprongchu intersection, make a left turn. Cycle for another 1.5 kilometers, and you will find Chimi Lhakhang on your right. This bike ride offers a scenic view of the surrounding hills.
