Getting There

Walking
Start from Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, a prominent landmark in the area. Head south on the main road towards the Wangdue Phodrang town center. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the junction near the Wangdue Phodrang bus station. From the bus station, take the path leading towards the east that goes uphill. Follow this path, passing by local shops and small houses. After about 30 minutes of walking, you'll reach a fork in the trail. Take the left path, which will take you through a scenic area. Keep walking for another 20-30 minutes until you see the Jangsarbu Lhakhang, which is situated on a hilltop with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Wangdue Phodrang and start your journey from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Ride south on the main road for about 1 km until you reach the junction near the bus station. Turn right at the junction and continue for another 1 km, where you'll find a path leading uphill on your left. Follow this path for approximately 2 km; it will be a mix of paved and unpaved roads. As you approach Jangsarbu Lhakhang, you’ll need to park your bicycle at the base and walk the final few hundred meters uphill to reach the temple.

If you are up for a hike, start your journey from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Follow the main trail leading south out of the town and into the forested area. This trail will take you through natural landscapes and small local farms. After about 1.5 km of hiking, you'll reach a clearing where you can see the Jangsarbu Lhakhang in the distance. Head towards it, following the well-trodden paths, and ascend for another 30 minutes until you finally arrive at the temple, enjoying beautiful views along the way.
