Starting from Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, head southeast towards the main road. Follow the road until you reach a fork. Take the left path toward Semtokha. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the sign for Simtokha Dzong on your left. The Dzong is located at 846 Je Bamo Lam SE, Tshatshobaykha.

If you are at the Wangdue Phodrang bus station, exit the station and head towards the main road. Turn left and follow the road for about 2 kilometers. You will pass a few local shops and a school. At the intersection, turn right onto Je Bamo Lam SE. Simtokha Dzong will be a short walk ahead on your right.

From the Wangdue Phodrang market area, go north towards the main square. From there, head southeast along the main street, continuing straight for about 2.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Je Bamo Lam SE. Simtokha Dzong will be on your right side after a short distance.
