    If you are in Wangdue Phodrang town, start at the main square (the intersection of the main roads). From there, head southwest towards the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. As you walk, look for signs leading towards Thimphu. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection near the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Here, take a left onto the road that leads towards Thimphu. Continue walking straight for about 30 minutes until you reach the bridge over the Punatshangchu River. Once you cross the bridge, follow the road signs towards Zilukha and Thimphu. After about 1 hour of walking from the bridge, you will arrive at the area of Gaden Lam. The Thangthong Dewachen Dupthop Nunnery will be located on your right along this road.
