Getting There

Walking

From central Wangdue Phodrang town, head east towards the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Once you reach the Dzong, take the path leading away from the river and towards the main road (Road to Thimphu). Continue walking on the main road for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the junction for the Thimphu Highway. Look for a sign directing you to Dochula Pass/Thimphu. Follow this road; it will lead you up the mountain. The trail is well-marked, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Wangdue Phodrang. Start from the town center and follow the same route as if you were walking towards the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong.
