Buses are frequent throughout the day, and tickets can be purchased at the station or online. The bus will arrive at the Sarajevo Bus Station. From there, you can take a taxi (approximately 10 BAM) or use public transport to reach the city center. The tram line 1 connects the bus station to the city center, and a ticket costs around 1.60 BAM.

Although trains are less frequent than buses, you can take a train from Mostar to Sarajevo. The journey takes about 3 hours. Check the train schedule in advance as departures may be limited. Upon arriving at the Sarajevo Train Station, you can take a taxi (approximately 10 BAM) or catch tram line 1 to the city center. Tram tickets cost around 1.60 BAM.

For a more direct option, you may choose to take a taxi from any location in Herzegovina to Sarajevo. While this is the most convenient option, it is also the most expensive, with fares from Mostar to Sarajevo typically ranging from 150 to 200 BAM, depending on the service and the time of day.
