Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Baščaršija, the old bazaar area, head east on Sarači Street until you reach the intersection with Ferhadija Street. Turn left onto Ferhadija Street and continue straight until you reach the end of the street where it intersects with Obala Kulina bana. Turn right onto Obala Kulina bana and walk for about 300 meters. The Sarajevo National Theatre will be on your left at Obala Kulina bana 9.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From the main tram station at Wilson's Promenade, take tram line 3 in the direction of Ilidža. Get off at the 'Konačište' stop. After disembarking, walk along the riverbank on Obala Kulina bana for about 5 minutes. The Sarajevo National Theatre will be on your right at Obala Kulina bana 9.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, exit the mosque area and walk towards the east through the narrow streets until you reach the main boulevard. Once you reach the boulevard, turn right and walk straight until you reach the Obala Kulina bana. Turn left and after about 10 minutes of walking, you will find the Sarajevo National Theatre on your left.

    From the Sarajevo Bus Station, take bus number 73 towards Ilidža. Get off at the 'Vijecnica' stop. After exiting, walk towards the river and turn left onto Obala Kulina bana. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and the Sarajevo National Theatre will be on your left at Obala Kulina bana 9.
