If you are traveling by car in Podrinje, you can start your journey from the city of Rogatica. Head south on the M20 road towards the town of Višegrad. After about 30 km, take the exit towards Goražde on the M20. Continue on the M20 for another 20 km until you reach the town of Goražde. Once in Goražde, follow signs for the R468 road toward the village of Strmice. After approximately 10 km, you will reach Strmice. From Strmice, follow the unpaved road that leads to Trnovačko jezero. The road may be bumpy, so drive cautiously. The lake is approximately 15 km from Strmice, and you will need to park your car at the designated parking area near the lake.

To reach Trnovačko jezero using public transportation, start your journey from Goražde. Take a bus from Goražde to the village of Strmice. Buses typically depart several times a day, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Strmice, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or find a shuttle service to take you to Trnovačko jezero. Note that public transportation options may be limited, and it's advisable to check the bus schedule in advance. The taxi ride from Strmice to the lake may cost around 15-20 BAM (Bosnian Convertible Marks).
