Please note that the last few kilometers to the lake involve a gravel road, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

To reach Trnovačko Lake using public transportation, first take a bus from your location in Podrinje to the town of Foča. Several daily buses run this route. Upon arriving in Foča, you will need to take a taxi or arrange for a local guide to take you to Trnovačko Lake, as public transport does not go all the way to the lake. Expect to pay around 20-30 euros for the taxi ride, depending on negotiation and the exact drop-off point.
