If you are in the Old Town (Baščaršija), head southeast along the main street, Sarači. Continue until you reach the Emperor's Mosque (Careva Džamija), then cross the Miljacka River via the Emperor's Bridge (Carev most). From there, walk uphill along Put mladih Muslimana street; the Bistrik Railway Station will be on your left. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. There are no costs involved.

From Baščaršija, you can take tram number 1 to the 'Latinska ćuprija' stop. From there, walk southeast, cross the Miljacka River via the Emperor's Bridge (Carev most), and continue uphill along Put mladih Muslimana street. The Bistrik Railway Station will be on your left. A single tram ticket costs 1.80 BAM if purchased from the driver or 1.60 BAM at a kiosk.
