From the fountain, guides typically lead you through the main streets, pointing out key landmarks. If you're coming from elsewhere in the city center, orient yourself towards Baščaršija. The area is pedestrian-friendly and easily navigable on foot.

If you're arriving by tram, the Baščaršija tram stop is conveniently located near the meeting point for most tours. Tram lines 1, 3, and 6 all stop at Baščaršija. A single ticket costs 1.60 KM if purchased at a kiosk or 1.80 KM from the driver. From the tram stop, walk towards the Sebilj fountain to find the tour guide.

Taxis are readily available throughout Sarajevo. A short taxi ride to Baščaršija from the city center will typically cost between 5-10 KM, depending on the distance and traffic. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver beforehand. Ask to be dropped off near the Sebilj fountain in Baščaršija.
