If you're driving from Trebinje, take the M1 highway heading towards Dubrovnik. The drive will take about 30-40 minutes (approximately 30 km). Once you reach the border, you will need to cross into Croatia, so ensure you have your documents ready. After crossing the border, continue on the D8 road towards Dubrovnik. Follow the signs for the Old Town, and once you enter the city, look for parking options. The nearest parking to Fort Bokar is at the Pile Gate parking area. From there, it is a short walk to Fort Bokar, located at Od Puća 20.

To get to Fort Bokar using public transport, start by taking a bus from Trebinje to Dubrovnik. Several companies operate this route, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Dubrovnik bus station, head towards the Old Town. You can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a local bus. If walking, head towards the Pile Gate, which is the main entrance to the Old Town. From Pile Gate, walk to Od Puća street where Fort Bokar is located. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips if you plan to come back to Trebinje the same day.
