Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Trebinje, head towards the main square (Trg Slobode). From the square, walk straight down the main street, which is called 'Kralja Petra I'. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the 'Bregalnička' street. Turn left onto 'Bregalnička' and follow the road until you reach the bus station. From there, you can either take a local bus or continue on foot. If walking, go down 'Bregalnička' until you reach 'Most na Trebišnjici' bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the road signs towards Dubrovnik. After crossing the bridge, you will enter Croatia, continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you see signs for Dubrovnik. Upon entering Dubrovnik, keep an eye out for 'Srđ ul. 2' which leads to Fort Imperial. The fort is situated on the hill and can be reached by following the road signs.

    From the center of Trebinje, make your way to the Trebinje bus station located near the main square (Trg Slobode). Board a bus heading to Dubrovnik; the trip will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Dubrovnik bus station, exit and look for the local buses heading towards the Old Town. You can take bus number 8 or 10 that will take you towards the cable car station. Get off at the stop for the Dubrovnik Cable Car. From there, you can either take the cable car up to the top of the hill, which offers stunning views, or walk up the hill by following the signs towards Fort Imperial. The fort is located at 'Srđ ul. 2'.
