Getting There

    From the center of Trebinje, start at the main square (Trg Slobode). Head south on the main street (Ulica Kralja Petra I) towards the direction of the old town. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ulica Jovana Dučića. Turn left onto Ulica Jovana Dučića and walk straight until you reach the entrance of the Old Town. Once inside the Old Town, follow the signs towards the historic sites. Keep walking towards the south-west, and you will eventually reach Pile Bastion, which is located near the southern walls of the old town. Look for the stone structure with a view over the valley.

    Although there are no direct buses to Pile Bastion, you can take a local bus from the bus station in Trebinje to the nearest stop near the Old Town. Get off at the stop named 'Stari Grad' (Old Town). From there, walk towards the center of the Old Town, following the signs. Continue walking towards the south-west part of the Old Town, where you will find Pile Bastion nearby the ancient city walls.
